April Glover Harriott received a Juris Doctor and Law and Business Certificate from Vanderbilt University Law School in May 2006 and a B.A. in Finance and Political Science from Florida State University in April 2002. While at Vanderbilt, she was involved in the following legal organizations: Ambassadors, First Year Representative; Black Law Students Association; Law and Business Association; Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity; Thurgood Marshall Legal Activist Society, Alumni Liaison; Vanderbilt Trial Advocacy Association; and the Women Law Students Association.

April joined The Law Offices of Marshall C. Watson in 2007 and is also an adjunct professor at Keiser University.  She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and is extremely active at Mt. Bethel Ministries of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
