CREDENTIAL SUMMARY

Patricia Ann Arango, Esquire graduated with honors from the University of Florida (B.A. 1996) where she was a recipient of the Florida Academic Scholar’s Scholarship. She was awarded her Juris Doctorate Degree at the University of Miami School of Law in May of 2000.

Prior to attending law school she was a paralegal/litigation secretary with a commercial litigation firm specializing in Collections, Probate, Contract and Bankruptcy law. Ms. Arango had extensive communications with clients and was relied on heavily for accounting aspects of the practice.

During her tenure at law school, her accomplishments included various internships with the Circuit Courts of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. While interning with Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Lauren Miller, Ms. Arango gained valuable experience in Criminal Appellate Law. Her internship with the Public Defender’s Office in Miami-Dade County involved significant contact with victims of Domestic Violence and plea negotiations with State Attorneys. Further, during her Broward County Internship, she became a Certified Legal Intern, where she litigated numerous criminal matters.

Ms. Arango is happily married and the proud mother of a 21 month old baby girl. She is currently working as an attorney in the Foreclosure and Litigation Department. Ms. Arango is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
