Evictions:
Judgments prepared by our firm contain a provision
directing the Clerk of Court to issue a writ of possession
upon application of Plaintiff and without subsequent order
of the court. In
order to expedite the process, judgments prepared by other
counsel, if need be, are corrected by our firm to reflect
same. Our
firm immediately notifies the servicer of the scheduled
eviction and lockout date for all matters.
Bankruptcies:
During the pendency of many foreclosures, the homeowner
will file bankruptcy.
A major part of the firm's practice includes
representation of mortgage lenders and servicers in
Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
Upon receipt of notice of a mortgagor's bankruptcy
filing, we immediately notify the servicer of the
pertinent bankruptcy information and await written
instructions from the servicer before proceeding in the
bankruptcy forum.
Litigation:
Our
firm has a Litigation department that specializes in
contested matters and research inquiries. This department
addresses all borrower inquiries and attend mediation
hearings.
Skip
Tracing:
Our firm has the ability to run skip traces on the
main defendants within 48 hours of receiving the
foreclosure referral. We are able to determine if
the defendant is still living on the property, moved to
another address or is deceased. Summons are then
prepared and served in a more expedient manner than
in years past.
Loss
Mitigation:
Our
firm has trained representatives who can assist in the
preparation of Repayment Agreements, Deeds in Lieu and
Modification Documents to assist the mortgagors,
servicers, investors and insurers. Our ultimate goal is to
use the most cost-effective method of liquidation for the
